The NC boys took on Sabetha for their last game of the season. This game was on February 19, 2024, at NC. They also had Kent Schnakenberg promoting Team Schnak Strong. The A-team boys played hard and Sabetha was not making it easy. The A team went into overtime and lost, 41-44. Next up, the B team played the Bluejays and had a great game. They played amazing defense and offense. The B team won 23-14. Good job boys! 8th grade player, Braden Macke commented, “It was a good game and we played very hard.”
Lastly, the Seventh Graders took on the Bluejays. The A team ran some fast-paced plays and were very aggressive. It was very apparent that Sabetha did not want them to win as they were keeping the score very close. The A team earned their victory by winning, 23-22. Lastly, the B team followed A’s team's momentum and played very well. They also took down the Sabetha Bluejays with a victory of 15-8. 7th Grade player, Kaden Sperfslage said, “We all worked hard, and in the end, we won a well-fought game.”
The boys worked very hard this season and made many improvements along the way. The A-team boys ended their season with 12 wins and 4 losses making them 2nd in the league. Way to go NCMS Thunder!
